Death of William McClelland about 9 o'clock Sunday evening William McClelland died at the residence of his son, James A. McClelland , north of the city. He had been suffering with heart trouble for several weeks past and at the time of his death was 83 years old. Since 1823 he has been a resident of this county and is one of its best known and most honored pioneers. The funeral occurred last Tuesday at 2 o'clock, being conducted by Rev. E.R. Johnson. About 9 o’clock Sunday evening William McClelland died at the residence of his son, James A. McClelland, north of the city. He had been suffering with heart trouble for several weeks past and at the time of his death was 83 years old. Since 1823 he has been a resident of this county and is one of its best known and most honored pioneers. The funeral occurred this afternoon at 2 o’clock, being conducted by Rev. E. R. Johnson.
